I have a question about remaps for the Fabia if anyone can help.

I may need to have my car remapped again as it looks the present remap is faulty and has a mind of its own.

Firstly does anyone know of any good remapper in Berkshire area?

I've come across a couple on google in reading and maidenhead but not sure on their rep.

More importantly I know most just flash the ecu with generic files but can they take into account hybrid turbo, egr and asv delete, decat and fmic so I get the full benefit of remap? Would they need a rolling road for this or can it be done without one?

Only the hybrid makes any difference, the rest is window dressing. Ask Faboka.

Faboka does a email service if your too far from him. You'll need some software which is £30 max.

When he did my first fabia I got 4/5 maps sent through before we were both happy with everything.

You'll have to record logs and send it to him but that's only takes a few minutes.

Personally, I would start with diy and blackcircles.co.uk but for a recommendation I would offer Jason Balbier in the Hounslow area - noted for BMW and "bespoke" work. His name keeps cropping up on the little bmw site - always positive. bwchiptune

Faboka is based here, send him a PM.

You can buy a cloned mpps cable cheap off eBay. And get the software needed free from the black smoke website.

You will also need a vcds cable (again cheap clones available on ebay)

And vcds lite (which is also free) to run logs for faboka. If you choose him.

Had the codes read and it comes up with alternator something load.... mech said there's problem with alternator reading wrong voltage which is causing ecu to make to light come on. Also he said ecu was reading values for egr when it shouldn't because egr is deleted.
