Indicators started playing up this afternoon - stut-stut-stuttering....then finally all I get is a single click and nothing.

 

It's the indicator relay within the hazard switch housing isn't it?

 

Also I see they're £32 from Skoda but a tenner from Ebay, I'm assuming ebay ones are alright?

Most likely to be the relay. I think the eBay ones can be a bit hit and miss quality wise.

Definitely the hazard lights switch, go with genuine. Buy cheap but twice. [emoji12]

Unfortunately I'd already ordered one from Ebay before people recommended genuine - however I found a 'power seller' with 99.9% feedback over 60,000 transactions, so I figured his stuff can't be that bad.

 

It was a tenner plus £1.90 postage and arrived the next day, so can't complain.

 

It arrived boxed, and looks identical to the OE unit. It fitted perfectly. It all works perfectly.....

 

...however...

 

When I got in the car tonight in the dark for the first time and switched on the headlamps, this thing lights up like a beacon! I thought it was stuck on or something for a minute, but no. When it is REALLY on it flashes with the brightness of a thousand suns.
