Both are 150ps SEL spec, only one on the mainland, but £26k for a manual ex demo or £30k for an auto with a few options at what seem to be list price or higher, can't see these selling at those prices when £4k+ discounts can be had on new car orders!

Available from 01/11/15 and 29/10/15, might be quicker to order a new one! ;)

Not if they repeat production delays like when O3 was launched!

Don't say that, I'm waiting on one!! Don't think the Superb is as popular as the Octy....yet....

Superb, although 'superb' ;) I don't think is selling near the volume of the O3 which caused the issues in ordering delays. I see this mentioned a lot, it's like O3 owners feel other models should suffer the same fate!

Probably not, not now anyway.

I ordered a new one, an L&K 280 as opposed to SE L, and been given Build Week 41 which equates to 5th-9th October. Add two weeks for shipping and preparing and I'm looking towards the later end of October.

Order went to Skoda UK on 21st July, apparently the earliest date Skoda UK were accepting orders for the 280.

A glimmer of hope is that when I spoke to Skoda UK customer services they said the date was "not confirmed". Thinking it could be even later they explained it meant that it would be built by week 41, but it could be built earlier. Apparently if it's "confirmed" then it means it will be built in the stated week (and not sooner).

The White Dove, Cardiff state 150 bhp but their spec shows 187 bhp !

Also I'm pretty sure that when I had a peep through the window of it, it had a manual gearbox.

I was actually one of the early adopters of the O3, ordered mine on launch weekend and it arrived at the dealer less than 11 weeks later so not too bad but the problems seemed to start if you ordered certain options such as pano roof, then when the vRS launched, the wheels fell off the production line and some ended up waiting over 7 months. Hopefully Skoda have learned their lesson, but that's what was said after previous delays on the Yeti, but lessons were not learned early enough for O3, hopefully S3 will be better.

We'll have to keep our fingers crossed then. I am assuming when I put my order in either at the end of this year or beginning of next that around a 12 week wait is the norm.
