So the joys of not having a wide angle lense, pick a bit of sky and hope. Loads of others occured in areas out of shot.

The foreground grass I thought was out of shot, then a car pulled up and illuminated it, nope in shot!

Even grabbed a satellite :D

Anyone else out and catch anything?

I got the ISS, and a plane or 2, but no Persieds:

I had the same problem as you - the meteors I did see were when the camera was on a 30s exposure of a different section of sky

:) yup I've got 60x20s frames from various areas all blank except one where I was mucking about with ISO's to see how high I could go and it not look pants.... I found out,  too high just as a massive one streaked across centre of the frame... SWMBO called it a night then. I think next time I'll go with two and a repeater release to keep taking while I sit in car drinking coffee ;)

The ISS looks like one in those shots though ;) Would not know otherwise and the camera never lies ;)
