Anybody know if the 1.2 Fabia comes with an under tray?

Mine has a small plastic lip part that runs along the front to the wheel arch but doesn't go near the sump etc...

I can get one from a VRS but not sure if it fits.

Ours has this. Same part number shown for all petrol engine Fabs up to 73kW as far as I can see.

Yeah that's what mine has also, doesn't really cover anything or stop any oil drops.

If you remember I posted recently about the crankshaft oil seal, I got it in the air today and oil is over everything, dripping from the sump, gearbox housing and aircon compressor so basically the three lowest points.

I have no idea where it's all coming from, it's very minor but all the same I want it fixed.

I've just steam cleaned the full underside of the engine so hopefully when I put it on the ramp next week it'll be clear where it's leaking from.

Gives a little splash protection for the manicat, alternator and belt, and some of the wiring connections at the front there, I guess.  I always seem to be taking the thing on and off, luckily that's dead easy and quick.

 

Did you try investigating crankcase pressure by loosening the oil filler cap and seeing if it's pulled back down or pushed up?

I never checked that actually no, I forgot.

I'll put it on my to do list!
