Hi Folks,

I picked a Skoda Octavia Ambiente 1.9 diesel for my company car (1st time I have had a choice in 25 years...) and after 3 weeks and 3,000 miles+ I am very happy with it... but it isn't actually an Ambiente.

According to the blurb, it should have a storage box/armrest in the middle, but it hasn't. No Ambiente logo either... have I been conned? 6-CD changer is in the boot...

Cheers,

Tony

Welcome, cant help you on spec (not sure but i think box is an extra???)... but sure someone will be along to answer correctly

Welcome to Briskoda. :D Is it a New Octavia?

Hi DGW,

It is a new Octavia to me... :) it was a factory order, I am told, and took about 3 months from ordering to receiving (it is a fleet car through Vardy).

After 3 years driving a Citroen Picasso 2.0 diesel it is nice to have a car with some poke! Pic was ok - 118k miles in 3 years - and driving position was good, but I prefer the Octavia overall.

How can I tell if it is a "new" Octavia?

Regards,

Tony

welcome to briskoda

The new octavia does not have spec badges.

How can I tell if it is a "new" Octavia?
