Hello friends!

As I said in the title my front windshield wipers aren't working. I mean they do what they want. Last night they weren't working, today they do. So, does anybody knows what might be the problem, before i take it to the mechanic? Maybe windshield relay? I don't think that the fuse failed, because sometimes they work.

Any help would be appreciated.

Some Fabias have a microswitch on the bonnet lock which can affect the front wipers if it is faulty.

Thank you, and I need to ask were is that switch located? Under the wipers, under the hood? Sorry about these questions, because I don't know and I don't want to break something.

P.S. My wipers are now working, they just started, I don't know how and why.

I know what the bonnet lock is, it's that lock for the hood. Isn't it xD

I fixed it, it was some kind of a lever/clamp under the hood. So i changed it now they're working. Thanks!

AFAIK the bonnet switch going wrong affects intermittent wipe only. Though my knowledge isn't vast and my armchair is comfy....

 

Would ask if they work in any circumstances.... i.e. wash/wipe etc. If not, check fuses.
