Want to upgrade H4 headlamp bulbs to Osram Nightbreaker Unlimited. Manual indicates you just pull off the connector from the bulb fitting then remove the rubber seal to unmount the bulb. Unfortunatly the connector won't pull off and I don't want to damage the fitting. Does anyone know if there is a catch on the plastic connector which has to be released befor it slides off?

Sure it just pulls off, it is really tight and takes a little wiggling.

Hi Chris GB, Thanks for the advice. It really is tight so I did not want to damage the fitting. Will have another go and wiggle it a bit more. 

Changed mine when I first got the car. From memory, I used a couple of fingers on the bulb base to avoid stressing the mounting clip.

Ooh boy did I struggle tuck a rag behind the plug, otherwise you'll skin your knuckles when it comes loose, just wiggle and pull
