Hi in my 2011 car I'm poss looking to fit a later spec 3 spoke steering wheel with airbag to replace the current 4 spoke wheel, my question is do the buttons light up white or green ? and has anyone done this already.

Yes, green. I always thought they were white until someone on here requested info so I took some photos. Wheel and heater/gear shift buttons are green. Main dash white. Rear door buttons also white I think but don't quote me

Photos (poor quality - sorry) attached. Also, blue light in one of the photos is a plug in phone arm/cradle charger light so don't get confused
