just wondering how hard of a job it is removing the front bumper of a fabia mk2 vrs 

 

It is not difficult. & yours has been off already to get the new engine fitted.

Not specifically the MkII fabia but I've had a go (and failed) on the Roomster. It's a pig of a job, but essentially:

 

1. Wheel arch liners out
2. Reach inside wing towards front edge
3. Undo two bolts on each side attaching bumper to wing

Tom I had mine off the other day to put my bulbs in, I'll run you through it if you want? It takes about 15 minutes once you know where every single screw is. I jacked mine up so I could get under.
