Adjusting damping on rear of fabia

Featured Replies

Hi all

I have PB (Phat Boy) damping adjustable coilovers on my VRS and when the car was bought they were set at 15 clicks (30 total) but I found this quite stiff for my cr4ppy roads. I have turned the front down as they are easily doable from under the bonnet to only 5 clicks and surprisingly it made a very nice difference.  Problem is I cant find where to do the rears from. I've owned BMW#'s before and for them you just remove the carpet and the rear shock turret is right there, stick allen key into top of shock and click away. I've removed carpet in boot of Fabia but cant see the shock turret.  Does this mean I have to unbolt the shock from under the car, adjust and then bolt back up??

thanks in advance

Standard rear damper top mount is bolted onto the outside of the body, I think you can see it through a split in the plastic arch liner. You might need to jack up a rear corner to get visibility past the wheel. No access at all from the cabin as far as I recall.
