Coding Key Fob to Disable Alarm Sensors

Featured Replies

Once thing that's annoys me occasionally (when travelling with dog) about my Fabia is that the 'lock twice' method of disabling the alarm sensors with the key fob doesn't seem to work as it does with our Octy. I don't have any other alarm problems that I've noticed so I'm wondering if this needs coded (or at least verified in VCDS to help troubleshoot if it's actually a fault).

Can this option be coded in VCDS, and if so does anyone have a note of where to find it?

Thanks.

Have you not got the button on the B pillar drivers side to disable the internal sensors?

Nope, not on my Fabia Kenny, our newer Octy has the pillar button, though the double-press method works on that too. Have tried the fob quite a few times on the Fabia but poor dog still sets the alarm off!
