Accessories plastic boot dish

Featured Replies

In my last 2 Octavias I've had a large Oem rubber Mat that has been great. Looking at the brochure it only lists a plastic boot dish which at £165 seems a bit expensive !

I much prefer the rubber anyway. Anyone know if a rubber Mat will be available ?

Rubber boot mats listed in the German brochure along with a rubber trunk cover for the area between the rear seats!

I've made a link and initial comparison of the new / old brochures in the brochure thread pinned at the top of the forum.

Nice one I'll keep an eye on that. I guess they will launch their stuff closer to the time.

if the prices are anything like they are for the Superb 2 on that site.... Well that's Superb ! ;-)

Not sure about the saloon but the estate includes those angled Velcro like things that you plonk down on the standard boot floor which then constrains your boot contents from limbo dancing all over the place. Those won't stick to rubber.

I have the fitted rubber boot mat in my current Superb but not sure if it's ever been put to any real use and gets in the way if you want to access the area under the boot floor.

The much lighter non slip boot mats that occasionally appear in Lidl or Aldi and are about twice the size (useful when you have seats folded down and when not fold the thing in half) for a fraction of the price get a lot more use in mine, and will in the MkIII when it arrives.
