Yes it comes as standard, I personally am looking forward to it to hook up my phone via Android Auto = no more out of date maps and easier to control my streaming music

It comes as standard as it's part of the new Bolero/Amundsen/Columbus infotainment systems.

Try the Skoda Octavia III (2013 onward) forum as they already have these systems and you might find your "worth having" answer there (do a search on "smartlink").

Because it comes with every Superb III the question "worth having" would actually be "worth using".
