boost log ?

Featured Replies

Hi i have fitted a fmic ( seat sport ) to my fabia as i was sick to death of chasing boost leaks. The car is completely standard apart from the fmic. I stupidly didnt take any logs before i fitted it. I'm hoping someone can tell me if this log is ok ( this is the first time i have done this) I'm hoping there are now no leaks.

That's A lot of boost low down. Duty cycle looks ok at 4000 rpm so could b sticky vanes causing the overboost.

Original turbo?

Original turbo that's the worrying bit. Looks like I'll have to try the Mr muscle treatment and log again. Is there anything else worthing trying to clear the sticky vanes.

high quality fuel mixed with some millers ecomax and a hard run up the motorway taking it to the red line a few times has cleared a few limp mode issues for me in the past.

It's always run on shell diesel with millers eco max. I've not got limp mode yet. Just seems to over boost. Going to do the Mr muscle treatment. Hopefully it will clear the sticky vanes
