Favorit stolen. Bought Felicia estate.

Featured Replies

Hello everyone!!

My friends are surprised that after I had my Favorit estate stolen I went to buy another Skoda. This time a Felicia estate.

I told them Skodas are reliable, run well and are cheap to maintain.

I bought this Felicia for

Hello!

Welcome, sure someone will be along to help with gears

Welcome to Briskoda. :wavey: Is it a 1.3 or 1.6?

Welcome to briskoda and welcome to the Felicia club we are growing in numbers now :D

My 1.3 felicia estate can be a little stiff at time to engage 1st gear, never given it much thought as it's not a problem for me.

Might be worth posting in the "ask a tech" forum, but for sure give more details on what engine etc

Thanks for all the replies.

It's a 1.3, but it doesn't matter now because I've been to skoda and they told me the cost of repair is not worth it.

I'm gonna go back to the con dealer and he's gonna give me the money back, plus maybe the servicing and insurance costs. I'll get advice with a Citizens Advice Bureaux before doing that.

Apart from the gear box the keys don't open any door, and they didn't tell me about it despite my request to be told of anything that was wrong with the car.

I remember them smiling to each other when they sold me the car. After 10 minutes of driving it couldn't engage 1st gear. Yes I drove it before buying it for another 10 minutes. It seemed ok. How to guess this sort of problems?

I'll do without a car for now. I only used it for bootsales on Sundays anyway.

Next time will be approved by Skoda!
