Hi. I've finally driven the Fun, so am definitely gonna take it on. It only just runs though, but it was enough to establish that there's nothing seriously wrong mechanically. Me and my mate are gonna tow it to my house, but it appears the standard Felicia towing eye can't be attached. I can see the thread for it when I look through the bumper, but there's no way to screw it in place, short of removing the bumper completely. Any ideas? Do I have to find someone who owns a trailer big enough to fit a Fun on?

You will need to trailer it anyway unless it is Taxed, Tested & Insured, 

or gamble on not getting caught with a non legal car on the road.

Both cars can be seized, tow car and being towed.

You need to remove the lower bumper centre mesh section. Towing eye thread is under there, left hand thread if i recall

Thanks for the replies. After some googling last night, a trailer has been arranged for next week. Even though the Fun is only 4 or 5 miles from my house, I've decided it's not worth the risk. Not only does it not have any tax, insurance or mot, it pretty much looks like it doesn't too. A half mile run down a country lane just to see if it drove alright is one thing, but chancing driving it down a main road into a town to get it home is entirely another.
