My VRS was bought new in 2006 and a couple of weeks ago the perforated metal clutch pedal cover fell off.  My local Skoda garage ordered a replacement complete rubber cover which arrived today - £80 which was a shocker to the mechanic and me!  He checked and was told the price was correct so it is being returned.  I still have the metal plate so any suggestions on which adhesive I can try to fix it on the rubber?
