I recently bought a 2008 skoda octavia that has done only 23000 kms with three services done. The last oil service that was on 2012 . i bought it on 2015 may and serviced and now it did nearly 39000 kms. The problem i am facing in this car is the mileage is less ( 8.2/100 in city) & (6/100 in highway) . i also own a 2007 model octavia which has done 181000kms and i get a mileage of 4/100 in high way and 5.5 in city. The recently bought car pick up is not bad but the drive is hard even without AC. With AC in city fuel consumption is more. no replacement of spares done till now in this car. The air filter, fuel filter has been replaced and synthetic oil. the car has a starting delay in morning , but in second attempt it starts. can anyone suggest me to solve the fuel efficiency and starting delay.
