Hi. Just bought my first skoda yesterday and loving it already. A 1.8t octavia vrs mk1. One thing i cant seem to suss out is the button in the middle of the electric window cluster. You know, the one with the window and a 'x' through it.

Someone shed some light on this for me please? Many thanks.

It turns off the power to the rear windows so they can't be opened from the rear.

Hi and welcome. That particular button has been known to fail, if you need a replacement switches panel I have one

This stops your rear windows from work. Also it stops your cigarette lighter from working for some strange reason....

I have mine switched off to stop the children from playing with the windows and my cigarette lighter works fine, as my dash cam is plugged into it.

Yes mine isnt working. Not too bothered. No kids and very rarely have passengers in the rear. Thanks for the replies.

Doing this stops my cigarette lighter from working which I spent around 30 mins trying to figure what is wrong with it l.
