I love my Yeti

Featured Replies

My son and me decided to swap cars today his Focus ST3 diesel for my Yeti.

I lasted about 6 miles, then drove straight to his work car park and swapped back.

The seat was so tight I could not breath, I had to sit out of the seat to drive it at all. Serves me right he did offer for me to try it the other night.

Still it’s good to see you haven’t lost your love for Excitement & Adventure.

Would be nice to have his thoughts on the Yeti.

I have two bikes for my adrenaline rush.

Ps. What Yeti do you have.

He quite likes the Yeti, he is used to driving lots of different cars as he is a prototype engineer at Ford. He changes his own cars about every 9 months, so this time he has the ST, last time he had a Kuga.

Mine is the MY16 2.0 Diesel SE Outdoor (I had ordered the 1.6 greenline, but it went out of production during the order)

Yeah, Yetis are great. Everyone who's looked at or been in mine have loved it.

Lol, glad I did not borrow it today, he is just getting it towed back to the main dealer. Oil temp high and engine light on.

I would love my Focus seats in the Yeti  :D

Ha Ha, I know someone with an ST who just might sell them to you.... See post 5

I was driven a short distance (thankfully) by my son in his VW Sirroco ...MG!. what a pita to get in and out of topped off with a 'bruising' ride.....getting back into my Yeti was, in comparison like being in a limo.

It must be an age thing? ;):D

My Daughter has a Audi TT mk2, similar situation to Ryeman.

I think my problem was more of a size thing.

Well I'm 6'1"and 61 years old and have a TT roadster! :D  It is easier getting in the Yeti though! :D

I nearly bought an MG B before I got the TT (had an MG B GT when I was young) but after getting into a friends at the weekend I'm glad I didn't, very low and small doors for a two door car. OK once in though and look and sound nice.

Our other car is a BMW M135i, yet we get just as much pleasure from our Yeti. Having bought it to be our 'work horse' we have been very pleasantly surprised how, in spite of not being that fast, it is very rewarding to drive.

I cannot say I love my Yeti but I do like it a LOT, our last car we had for 10 years was a Skoda Fabia 1.4 16v Elegance Estate and that was the best and most reliable car we have ever had but I'm sure the Yeti will take over that crown.
Anyway I digress, as per the thread title here is a present someone bought me (that I have not worn yet) B)
