As always - be careful with electrics; cover main exposed areas, if at all possible.

 

Watch out for air intake; keep the jet wash on a low pressure setting and take your time.

 

 

A good clean can also be achieved with some detailing brushes, some old microfibres, APC, and some patience

this is certainly my preferred method for the engine bay - and not risk the jet washer method.

Don't pressure wash it. There is no need. Why risk it?

Forgot to get a before so got a snap as I was TFR'ing it, turned out beautiful!!

Came up well buddy. Nice one.

Some people don't mind using a PW in the engine bay. I feel it is too extreme, does the job mind.

As long as you take sensible precautions, pressure washing is safe

If you're not confident, then the other method is perfectly adequate, but will take more patience
