Anyone have a noise with AP coilovers at low speed? Only notice it when low speed approx 5mph and on even surface. Hard to describe the noise but only happens at low speeds usually when parking etc. Isnt set very low either. Also every bush/ball joint/bolt was changed same time when coilovers where fitted.

Have a look at your springs and see if there is any evidence the coils have been rubbing against each other:

 

 

APs 'fix' for this is to put a sleeve over the spring, which you buy from them, and have fitted at your own expense (or fit it yourself and have the alignment done at your own expense).

 

Needless to say I won't be buying APs sleeve. :(

Yeah just checked springs are rubbing. Where can i buy the sleeve?

Anywhere that sells AP coilovers should sell them, Damian @ DPM does.

My conventional 25mm drop AP's are making this noise too. So it just requires some sleeve material over the spring? That is so daft.
