Gave the Fabia a wash and it's first wax today. Has to be said it was fapping cold though!:P

I then embarked upon a small under bonnet mod. Monkeyboy gave me his old Octy vRS engine cover, so I butchered it and made a better looking Fabia vRS cover :D

And then I fitted my Parrot bluetooth kit. Lost a few knuckles in the process and sliced through a couple of fingers, but I got there in the end :D

looks lovely and clean but have to say whats the point of waxing in this weather!, the car will be dirty tomorrow. have lots of respect for you staying out and doing that in these temps.

have you taken your pd160 mod off as the air intake under your bonnet looks like the standard issue??

Protects the paint and makes it easier to keep clean, top job fella :)

Very shiny! Nice one  Might do mine tomorrow.

Liking the photo quality aswell

Like I said, it's the first time that the car has had a waxing and I've had her 4 weeks Monday. Thought I had better give her a bit of protection. I also need to touch up a few stone chips that have appeared already

I have had the Cupra intake in the shed for two weeks now, but havent got round to fitting it. A mate got a Green filter last Thursday for me and I tried putting it in, (by use of candle light lol) but I could'nt get it to sit properly so gave up. I may well give them a go in the morning, providing the frost isnt too bad!

Nice drive!

Nice collection of Skodas too.

And it looks lovely and shiny...

Oh, and the Parrot looks good.

The engine cover looks great also.

So a big thumbs up from me, good days work imo!

Mine got a wash todday too - A very thorough one - Think it will get some Zymol tomorrow, then its off on some travels. My engine bay isn't even close to being as clean as that though - 70,000 miles of grime on it.

You mean you didn't clean the engine bay before dropping that lovely new engine in there

Course not :P

Might see if I can clean around the turrets tomorrow morning - just a general wiping up needed I think, maybe with some gunk.

Lol, cheers Tom :)

Jason: I bought a two stage engine cleaner for my Clio from Halfrauds, I think it was by Turtle Wax. That and a can of carb cleaner for the stubborn bits cleaned her up nice. The second stage is like a silicone cleaner and makes it shiny :)

Looking very good

who's is the fabia then? or u got 2 cars?

Looks good. Have a look in my gallery. Ive just fitted some S Steel handle covers
