Intermittent fault

Featured Replies

I might have a question ,nobody can answer .

I have a 03 plate octy vrs ,when I go round a slight left hand bend or even just turn the wheel slightly I lose power ,just for a second or two .

Now it's beginning to get on my tits ,any ideas or a cure/cause .thanks in advance

Have you had any work done on the fuel pump area or is the car still original in that area?.

From what i can work out from my 02 plate octy 4x4 is the fuel pump is front left in the fuel tank.. Power steering pump would also be on the hit list to see if it's labouring the engine via the belt.

Any engine lights stuck on or epc (or whetever it is on the rev counter)? Obd2 codes? Misfires etc?.

No warning lights on, engine not Coughing and no other symptoms ,it just loses all acceleration when you turn the wheel slightly I .A bend ,but comes back after a couple of sseconds

I had similar symptoms ending in a CEL and limp mode; the problem was a failing Throttle Position Sensor.
