Can I do software upgrades with vcds?

I'm thinking of getting a micro-can vcds for my Skoda Octavia III to reset the service intervall and do some other changes in the car settings.

Can I also do software upgrades somehow or is that only done at the reseller shop? Do they charge for that?

VCDS can't do any software updates I'm afraid. It is however, very good and easy to use for retrofits, coding changes and diagnostics.

Hi all, long time since I've been on here as touch wood have been enjoying many issue free miles in my Octavia. Last week whilst returning home from a local trip I suddenly got a warning light and a chime, Error: ABS/stabilisation control (ESC) several second later I got another, Error: Tyre Pressure Monitoring System several seconds later, another... Hi all, Sorry to be a pest. My old man bought a '12 plate 2.0 Diesel S back in 2019. Does anyone have any recommendations for reasonably priced insurance companies outside of the comparison sites. Everyone said policies had gone up last year but mine was still ok, but it's gone up higher than I'd like this year. I'm in my 40's, driving for 27 years, full no claims. Maybe its the same for everyone but it feel like robbery when it's a 2010 car, Skoda superb elegance, TDI, DSG. When I bought it it was about £400, got it down to £185 and its back to £300

TL:DR - hi! superb 280: wet skiddy without quality back tyres? Hello everybody, New to the forum and owning a skoda. I've got a 2019 superb sportline 280 hatch. Are they known to get a bit unsettled at the back end in the wet? With the job I do I've driven both manual and dsg Haldex skodas (octavias and kodiaq), quite hard, and never experienced this. Granted the work cars are all diesel with Michelin crossclimates. I've had the car 2-3 months now and there's a bit of stuff in the boot. K
