I recently brought a used Octavia GLX TDI (90), where the speedo dials do not work. I have brought a speedo cluster from scrap dealer. My question is how do I now get my key to start the engine as immobiliser keeps kickng in.

You need someone with vcds to read the code from your old clocks. Then find someone with the right software to be able to code in the new(second hand) clocks. Or a main dealer, but that will be expensive.

No that will just get the 4 digit immobiliser code. You will need vag commander I think it's called to code it in and alter the mileage to what's on your original clocks.
