Do you have maxidot display, the country swap and large display is only possible on that display.

Maxidot displays a large picture of the car with whatever door you have open actually shown. If you have a little red light when the door is open you do not have maxidot.

You don't want to select Australia as that will give you MPH.

If you have selected France check this.

SETTINGS

"MFD data" and make sure the box for Digit.speed is ticked

You can also remove the other smaller speed display.

SETTINGS

and unticked the "ALT.speed dis." box (this will remove the KPH speed and replace it with the outside temp display)

Having spent most of the morning messing around with this, It always comes back with mph shown in large script on the maxidot my view is it don't do it/

is the country coded to France or ROW? perhaps try different options.

Tried 'em all, think it probably needs to be an English speaking country(or one using mph and kph as the second speed system(?) so the computer thinks / knows the speedo is in mph and then the mfd/maxidot might work

However the listed options in the code section is fairly limited, don't think it can be done easily!

In Ireland, we have kph and speak English (or our version of it !!) My Fabia 3 shows km/h on the maxidot - by default. Possible to switch it between mph and kph in "Units" setting in the Infotainment.  Is there a country code for IRL in VCDS?

no Ireland present, but if like australia it will only display mph, i assume the computer thinking the speedo reads in kph
