coming/leaving home lights

Right so my new beauty is 2007 vrs with factory xenons, it also has coming/leaving home function activated when its dark- my question is - how can i deactivate this please? its just as i dont want those xenons being on/off all the time and also find this function unnecessary, how difficult is it and can i do it without vagcom? many thanks

Turn the CH/ LH function off in the maxidot. With VCDS you can change so that the fog lights are used instead of firing the xenons for short periods.

Ok, Matrix Leds are fantastic. When driving on A or B class roads they working perfect, illuminates both sides of the road and cuts out cars at the front or oncoming traffic. I've never been flashed. When I tried to use them on motorway it's a different story. Right headlamp is illuminating as expected but left one doesn't illuminate side of the road but only gives a lot of light far at the front of the car.. I recently followed Audi Q7 with matrix leds and his headlights gave massiv

Anyone tried aftermarket reversing camera retrofit on the Kamiq? Disapointed to find it wasnt standard on the monte carlo but hey i suppose i should have checked b4 buying.

One is the reversable boot floor, carpet one side and a sort of plastic the other. Both items are in great condition too Second is a rear sun screen, it's a mesh material in a metal frame that you clip inside the hatch window, it keeps out a ton of heat and you can take it out for winter, you can't see into the car also. My 280 had tinted side windows but the rear glass was not done. Both are huge and would be prohibitively awkward to post. If you want either you WILL need to come to Swindon.

Hi, Our driver side window made a growly noise then wound itself all the way down, and is now stuck. We have removed the door panel and can't even lift the glass manually from the bottom. It will not move. I think we need to replace the window regulator, but it seems that we need the glass half up to remove it. (Need to line up the rubber bung with a slot in the regulator?) I just want the window shut for when this heatwave breaks and the rain returns. Then we can order and fit new parts later.

Unrelated (hopefully!) to my faulty light problem, in the past few days I think the tone of my exhaust has changed and it sounds deeper. Whilst I was fiddling around with the lights, I gave the exhaust a push and noticed that it was swinging from side to side. Is it supposed to do this?! If not, what might the problem be?
