Colour concept

Featured Replies

Hya, I just wondered if Skoda are still doing the colour concept for the fabia as I was told it had stopped when I bought mine and mine was made into a colour concept ??? This was back in July this year.

When I ordered mine there wasn't any mention of them stopping it. I went for the black colour concept.

I ordered it in July as well.

Ok. Got mine in Blade Bristol. Just wondered why the sales staff tried to make out that skoda were no longer doing the colour concept. Odd.

Before buying my Polo, I looked at the colour concept on the Fabia and did multiple colour combinations and most of them were naff! I can't see why you'd have a metallic and solid paint together either. I have only seen a race blue with black wheels and roof and it doesn't look that great.

Colour concept is best left for style conscious individuals who'd pose in a Mini, DS-3 or Fiat 500s! Those cars have been developed for individuality! Not a practical Sokda.

And yet, some of us are buying it :)

I disagree, my race blue fabia with black roof mirrors and wheels looks great. I love it. Sporty looking. The only mix I am not keen on is the white roof and wheels...but that's just me.

@ threadbear, basically the new shape fabia looks very similar if not better looking now than the Vw Polo imo. It has a whole new character that has left the old fabias behind, again imo. It's a great car with great lines and colour concept looks good. That's why I was interested in finding out if any other folks had been told it had stopped...hence this thread.

I have to say that I toyed around with colour concepts and some are definately better than others! Just not for me.....however I did see a race blue with silver roof the other day that looked rather smart!

I really like my colur concept little fabia! Moon white with black roof/wheels.
