Rear Parking Sensor Buzzer very quiet

Featured Replies

The buzzer on my 2010 Octavia is very very quiet, I asked the garage if they could increase the volume when they were servicing but they said that buzzer is broken,Repair cost £100.

Anyone know where I can get a buzzer and how easy/hard is it to replace?

Don't know where it is on the Octy but in my previous car it fell off its mount and ended face down and I thought it had broken. Stuck it back where it came from and all good.

Not sure what version you have but my volume control is set through the onboard settings

Think mine can be changed through my Stream head unit.

I came across it when the front sensors were giving false readings and driving me nuts so turned the volume right down until I fixed them. I think you could also adjust the tone/frequency of them too.

Yea vagcom can increase vol of buzzer

Has it always been quiter then normal or is that new thing :)

New thing, was working perfectly.

Where ts it? It's so quiet that I am having trouble locating the buzzer. I thought it would be in the door pillar but isn't there. Anywhere else they put it?

I'm a passenger in mine for the first time today, think it was beeping somewhere just to the left and behind me. I'll listen out next time we park!
