Octavia mk1 1.820v stalling when coming to stop !

Hi guys I have problem with my wife's Octavia1.820v auto, keeps cutting out when coming to stop or at low revs? Changed MAF sensor ,new plugs going to change speed sensor,(as last time I did scan it came up maf&speed sensor), has anyone had similar problems?, was also thinking might be be air leak?, my main problem is I'm in UK and the car is in Spain so trying diagnose this over phone or internet!, any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated .
