I pulled my switch out last night so I could have a look to see what I need to fit auto headlights, I was surprised to find the plug and switch is the same as a Mk4 Golf! I knew the Toledo and Rapid used old technology but I didn't think it was that old lol! Ordering a Mk4 Golf kit later

Yeah they must have had some parts left from the old golf in the parts bin!

 

They changed them to the new style electrics at some point but the early ones got old style ones.
