I have bought a battered but MoTed Fabia Silverline 1.4 MPI from a friend. It was bought as a non-runner due to a failed head gasket.

 

I have now stripped the head off to discover that the head is absolutely fine, the gasket had broken up and rather less encouragingly the bores had terminal rust damage.

 

I now find myself in urgent need of another cheap car preferably a Fabia 1.

 

My plan is to make 1 decent car out of two tired ones.

 

If you have a suitable (i.e. very cheap!) Fabia that needs a little TLC or parts replacing then I would be interested.

 

In the mean time I have a good, clean cylinder head that is available for a sensible price.

Looks like you have already stripped and sold most of your car! Also Staffordshire is a bit of a schlep from sunny Wiltshire.

 

Coming under big pressure to get the car moved off the drive it is currently located upon.
