Autocar Superb V Merc

Featured Replies

Probably a fair review. Wouldn't turn me off a Superb as I will be saving wayyyyy more than £4000 so it's an even bigger bargin.

The comparison I thought at times seemed more of a price as in top of the range (£36k) to a 220 E and not not like for like trim level which would make the price some what different.

What do you think the 220E is lacking in spec? The only thing missing when I changed ou mine is the full electric seat adjustment with seat memory. Oh and by the way you can currently get 8K off a new eclass so the price differential isn't that much, especially if buying on PCP not cash.

I'd happily have a superb again, so not advocating getting the eclass, just pointing out that the prices are not that far apart.

cheers, Steve

I would like the E as I have always liked them, do not know why just do. When l looked at an E class on a like for like taking both sides discount (I have the L& K and got £6k off the list price) there was quite a difference in spec from the type of mood lighting, ventilated seats all the way to the TV admittedly on paying cash, well 50% up front and the rest % free not something that MB do.

Btw it is reported that 80% of MB new cars are on pcp type agreements so for them it may work.
