My 1.9TDi Elegance has just arrived for the next company car, so it was bye bye TT and hello Superb! (We had a Fabia VRs last year and loved that so thought it was an ideal choice).

Loving the Superb, apart from the folding on side mirrors are not working. Tried it once, they went in and next morning, nothing ... :confused: Any ideas?

Anyway, only 150 miles so far and looking forward to more!

Have they been touched manually? To they try to move or is there nothing when you rotate the switch around?

Nothing at all happens when I switch the **** around. Looks like a dealer visit ...

I have a 12 year old Skoda Octavia mk3 TSI 1.4 with 155000 miles on the clock. It has JUST scraped through its MOT after repeated emissions failures due to carbon buildup. The mechanic has told me he doesn't want to see the car back next year as it won't pass again and cleaning the carbon deposit off wouldn't be worth it given the age and value of the car. I've read a lot about Walnut Blasting to remove carbon buildup. Would it be worth it in my case or is the mechanic right, and I should just

I know that i have posted in 3-4 other topics the photos of my modified console (in various stages) but i think it's proper to have them all in one topic plus informations for the step by step procedure. Maybe another member will read it and try to modify his or someone can find via Google Search the photos and have an inspiration. At 60k and 5 and a half years old I don't think mines has had plugs yet (had it two years). Does anyone have recommendations on plugs (part numbers etc) and what the standard plugs fitted by Skoda are? I fitted some on my last car which was a Leon Cupra 290 with the EA888 and they were NGK Platinum I believe. From memory they were the same part number as the original Seat/VW ones but I can't fully remember. Can I do the same here in terms of getting the right NGK ones from say Eurocarparts an
