Front discs

Featured Replies

Just changed the front ones with a mate as I didn't realise I needed a spline socket for the rears!

Feels good on a test run but they made some noise under breaking, I assume that's because of the grooves etc?

They did get warm too but I was testing them out and stopping before a head on, one was slightly smokey when I stopped but hoping that was just the coating or break cleaner burning off.

Didn't realise how knackered the old ones where tho, this is after around 55k

Didn't hear any noise from mine but I was following the run-in procedure.

Ain't the rear discs a different size?

I am well happy with mine I have always had mtec discs on all my cars

It was only when I was breaking past a wall or fence with the windows down, no noise otherwise
