Frost Car Care

Featured Replies

Does anyone know what happened to these guys? I'm after some more Onyx

Sent from my Galaxy S5

Finally got hold of some Onyx to test out as my Tyre Dressing on the .:R36.

I can see what all the fuss was about really.

Goes on very well and doesnt need a lot applied either.

One gripe, is that it smells very very chemically.... no pleasant fragrances here!!!  :x

It was raining again by the time i finished - so no pics; but highly recommended.

Certainly is - many thanks for the recommendation

Tried the Frost snow foam earlier on today, car was looking awful. 80470dfc936fb9b575a9a8e62e1dba64.jpg634fa34f87466b565389ae7150e1484e.jpgaa37c5fc64dbaf639d1004ed91f81ff2.jpg

The snow foam it's self is more of a gel type instead of runny liquid like most foams tend to be. Put the full sample in the foam bottle & topped up with 600ml of warm water.

It doesn't foam very well at all. Wether there is not enough in the sample bottle I'm not sure.. 8d381590a3dfd111f66469b02cadc560.jpgaba874eb4dad17d7cfbe46a090c5c029.jpg

Cleaning power how ever is fairly good. Got rid of the crud on the lower body of the car, also sits & dwells well considering the foaming capabilities.

Overall, not one I'd rush to buy over my favorite foam at the moment.

Nice little review Karl - cleaning results look actually ok; but levels of foam are disappointing for sure.

Let us know how you get on with the remainder of the sample pack...

No problem! Will do! I need to look into the wheel cleaner & fall out remover as the spray heads supplied don't fit the bottles LOL

Oddly enough - i thought they looked the wrong type for that type bottle/product.

Take some pics of the issue and i'll email them.

They have been quite quick to respond previously.

Cheers Karl.

Welcome. You order any let us know your thoughts. They do Blizzard force which is apparently good for winter too. More cleaning power If that takes your fancy! Plenty of reviews around online!

I keep thinking of a new product but I have loads of magi foam left! Not so impressed with that based on what others are saying about the cleaning ability of other snow foams.

Hindsight would be a fine thing, i remember reading about magifoam and thinking it would be awesome. Then I found some honest reviews by experienced users and thankfully they put me on the right track. I went for bilt hamber autofoam which is excellent. Currently on Angelwax Fast Foam which is also fantastic. I'll throw some money towards KKD when I need some more I think.

Bilt Hamber AF and Power Maxed Snow Foam are my preferred products at the moment...You wont be disappointed with Valet Pro pH Neutral either

Hope you get what you want Andy

Tried some more of the sample pack this morning. Washed a dried the car as normal then pulled it into the garage to get out of the wind & cold!

Reviews - Frost car care Glass polish 01428ab296395472c8b9e8c0e266559e.jpg

Sprayed 3 times on the glass, worked in with a cloth & buffed with the other side. Extremely easy to work with and no excessive force or buffing needed. I have trouble with glass, it's a PITA but this is without doubt the best glass cleaner I've used. No streaks or marks left.. cbadb2799f626ffdc71bff7e86006f10.jpgf61645148ec5301b40e8d0fc9d9d42d7.jpg

On the back (pictured above) it states, hydrophobic properties so interested to see how it performs and length of time it lasts.

Onyx Tyre dressing - as with most of frosts products, no fancy smells. It smells quite chemically. In a very think viscosity liquid form too. Comes with spray head but I prefer to use either a Microfiber applicator or foam applicator.

Used a foam applicator on my Handi Puk, applied the dressing to it and set to work. Very little is needed. Goes along way. Leaves a nice satin finish, apply more for gloss finish. Either or suits me but it's nice to have the choice!

All in all two products I'm very happy with & will get round to purchasing full size bottles shortly.

Thanks, hope you enjoy the reviews.
