Got the Beta pre-loading as I type this, (free download on EA Origin).

Beta starts today at 15:00 and lasts until sunday I believe.

Anybody going to be joining in on the carnage?

PC runsat very high resolution

Ps4 900

Xbox one 720

Both console versions seem blurry but I'll know for sure soon enough

Had it on preorder for ages soni hope it don't disapoint

The PS4 version looks and sounds glorious. This is definitely a day one purchase for me, and I've got the week off work afterwards.

In terms of gameplay it's quicker and appears less tactical than Battlefield games, but hasn't gone to the frenetic extremes that COD has hit. The pacing seems more like the first couple of COD:MWs which is perfect for me.

Yeah PC version seems pretty well optimised. Steady 60FPS on ultra settings.

I'm of two minds with this currently, maybe its nostalgia but I think I preferred Battlefront 2 on the PS2... Will put some more time into this beta and see.

Well all I can say is wow

Game is freaking awesome

I went off call of duty after black ops 2 didn't bother with battlefield

Loved titanfall

Played hard-line and black ops 3 beta's (nothing not a glimer of enjoyment)

This though was great for my ass handed to me on the rock map

But the hoth battle was great

One gripe I noticed was the rebels have a disadvantage on that msp with so few vehicles but still a good session

One thing that lets tactical fps games down is no communication

Still a day one purchase for me

Freaking can't wait for this! Good to read some positive comments from the beta!

 

Between this and Need For Speed, EA are on a roll at the moment.
