Passenger Door Unlocking

Featured Replies

Dear all,

On the double-click of the unlock button on my key fob, periodically all the doors apart from the front passenger door unlock. The car has been back to Skoda and they reset the computer but weren't sure that it would fix the problem (it didn't). Has anyone else had this problem or can suggest any solutions?

Regards,

Nick

(Did a forum search to check that this hadn't been covered before, but couldn't get any results)

Single click unlocks only the drivers door. Double click unlocks all doors. Are you trying to get just the front two doors to unlock? If so, this isn't possible as far as I know :)

No, that is not what I mean.

As expected, on a single click only the drivers door unlocks.

On the second click, all the other doors unlock, but sometimes the front passenger door does not.

Understood... a definite fault then. Hope it gets fixed soon :)

I had my dealer turn off the 2 stage unlocking system as it was a bugger to get it right everytime on the keyfob pushes. It's a pity though because it's a nice function that i'd otherwise prefer to have.
