car chem

Featured Replies

I recently made an order with car chem so today is the first time I've been able to use them and so far I'm impressed.

I've brought their 1900:1 shampoo which so far is awesome, soaps up very well, very economical just two capfulls for a bucket and very very slippy over the paint work.

I also brought some revolt and again an excellent product, spray on wait 1-2 mins for the reaction to take place and rinse off. Its do effective I could see purple streaks in the runoff for ages.

Also tried their tar and glue remover but to be honest I don't think I had any problems with tar on my car so I can only assume its doing its job.

So as it stands I impressed and will probably order more in the future, still have a couple more products to try when I get round to I but so far do good.

I'm currently using their snow foam. Not much left

Its ok but Power Maxed is better IMO

I still have 2.5l of their jet wash & wax but to be honest it doesn't do a lot for me but I know lots really rate it.

You wont go far wrong with Car-chem on Shampoo or Snowfoam that's for sure.

I recommended them to Karl recently as he was looking to invest in some 5L tubs.

I'm still working through the 5L tubs from last years Xmas sale in fact - absolute bargain!

I find it works far better if diluted a little stronger than snow foam..Its not quite the same product...Its a pre wash cleanser, in effect a safe pH neutral version of TFR

So dilution rates are not as ctitical

I use it on the car if its just dusty and doesn't require a full wash..In that respect is damned good

Well so far I'm impressed really liking the shampoo I think I'll be ordering some off there tailer made stuff next time. Unfortunately I don't have a snow foam lance so I have no need for snow foam.

I understand what it is I just struggle to find a use for it. I understand people use it as you describe but for me, the time it takes to set it all up and apply it I could just as easily shampoo the car. Still It maybe of more use to me now that winter is setting in with all the road salts and grime ect.
