Seems Karl has some issues on Tapatalk - apologies. Main body of thread - Karl sent me to relay....

" Yep, not VAG, But a cute little Pug never the less!

The missus has been working across in Manchester for the last 3 months so her car was absolutely filthy. Wanted a quick wash, but as OCD as we are that didn't happen.. what did is this...

- Wheels & tyres with KKD Brakeaway & KKD Ferrum
- KKD Blizzard peppermint rock
- KKD cherry wash shampoo
- KKD Ferrum applied to car top to bottom.
- Auto Finesse ObliTARate
- Farecla G3 Clay Mitt & Auto Glym Rapid Detailer as Lubrication

- Re-foamed & Re-washed
- Forced air dried & Wooly Mammoth drying towel
- Car pro eraser wipe down for clean surface.
- DAS6-PRO, 6" Green Waffle Pad & Autobrite All In One Polish.

- Finished with 2 coats of Fusso for long lasting protection.

- Layered on thin with the AP Handi Puk & black wax pad & very easily buff off to perfect shine & no streaks.
- Tyres dressed with megs Endurance
- Trim with KKD Trim-X
- Glass sealed all round with Angel wax H2GO.

5 & half hours all in - for a small car, quite a job!

The Missus was very pleased. I enjoyed myself & she got some peace and quiet   ;)

Thought to post here just for people to read & Maybe learn a few bits.

Thanks all,

Karl"

Pictures to follow.....

Sorry Karl - as i was so busy re-posting your tapatalk troubles and getting duplicates deleted;

i did forget to comment on the great work on SWMBO's little Pug!

The car looks stunning.... it almost looks a different colour from when you started!  ;)

Very impressed with products you selected on the day - i hope Nicole is chuffed with the results!

Thanks buddy.

She was very happy. Would benifit from correction work but as she may be getting rid shortly it's hardly worth it think. For 7 years old it's decent!

Yeah - but if she is doing that sort of commute every day - I guess its gonna have a fair amount of contamination and war wounds!

I guess you need it to last a fair bit longer as will; given your wedding plans etc.

Luckily they have transfered her back to bradford now, same salary too so a big saving on maintenance and fuel costs! Couldn't be happier about that.

She deserves a new car for all the hard work but yeah as you say, wedding plans etc. Although I think she had someone in the pipeline to buy it at one point.

She's after a BMW. I said she could get one as long as it was a little under powered than the vRS. Can't be having her a faster car than mine!! Haha!

Ahhh - great stuff! Glad that sense prevailed on the office move then.

  • 2 weeks later...

How is the little Pug holding up after the detail?

I expect with 2 coats of Fusso on there - should be looking well after a quick wash....

Managed to get it washed at the weekend for her mate. Quick foam with KKD Blizzard and the car was virtually clean. Dirty just fell off and the beading is still quality!

Very good - glad to hear it!!!

I was pestering KKD about Xmas deals on Blizzard perhaps.

Seems like its a big NO; and the current price is as good as it gets! :x

It is very well priced for the performance I must agree. One I'll certainly be sticking too!

I want Nicole to get a new car no though. Something new to detail haha!

Yes - it is one of the best for sure;  as always - I keep looking at bargains and alternatives anyway

Similar story at home - I think we will keep SWMBO's car for winter then sell.

So plenty of research to be doing over winter....  ;)

Looks like you'll be fairly busy over winter mate haha!

I was toying with keeping the Fab another year or so and getting rid. Like the look of the new Impreza STI but then again, I said I won't get rid until I can get a Escort Cosworth!
