about to buy lowering springs for my vrs 2002 please heelp !

I believe lowering heights are stated from standard, vrs is 15mm (I think) lower than the standard car so you're talking a 20mm drop on those. But double check that with the seller, there's a ball park thing for you anyway. Sure DPM Damian mentioned this before...

With H&R 20mm means 20mm as they're vrs specific. Be warned though sometimes lowering springs don't get on too well with squishy damping of old shocks. May be better off with budget coils or kits?

Also, a lot of lowering spring kits sold for the Octavia are really Golf kits which are under rated for the springs to allow for the extra rear overhang.

As has been mentioned, H&R are correct for the car, but will raise your shock piston outside of it's normal working area, and may possibly "bottom" in the shock insert.

If you can stretch to it, do it as a matched upgrade - shocks and springs to avoid agro and expense later.

I have some H&R springs. They are currently doing an awesome job of gathering dust in a box under the stairs while I get my finger out and order some Bilstein B8s to go with them.

How much do you want for the box, posted? ;)

With or without the layer of dust on top? 1 squillion GBP, please.

If you could clean it up that would be great, you got paypal?

Sure, can you send as a gift to: [email protected]

Payment sent, any problems email at opportunistforumpurchase@gullibleas****.com
