I've been told BW 45 (unconfirmed) (yes I realise that it's unconfirmed) ever since I put my order in on the 6th August.  Checked with SUK this PM and they told me it's now BW 51 (unconfirmed).  Strangely SUK phoned me 10 mins later to answer an eMail that I sent them late last week asking the same question and they confirm that it's BW 51(unconfirmed) this being Christmas week I doubt that there will be anyone at the factory feeling like building a car.  I have lived in the eastern side of the continent and those guys know how to enjoy Christmas!  Then we have everything slipping back, lots of snow, rough seas and Christmas lethargy all over.  Having a lot of trouble persuading myself of anything good about this.  Would be delighted if any other BW 45 (unconfirmed) Briskodas could check their BWs and see if it's a general drift back.  SUK  03330 037504  You need your ORDER No from your retailer.

My order has slipped back a week from one to two...

Mine always been Week 45 unconfirmed and as I told Skoda in July it is totally meaningless until confirmed as they said it can move either way. I said you may just as well tell me Easter. I have pretty much accepted that it is meaningless until told a confirmed date and they now update me each week. I have thought about not accepting a December delivery though as I would prefer a January registration for depreciation reasons as it is better to be 2016 reg 65 plate. As I repeatedly say I cannot prove it but I feel delivery/registration is manipulated by the dealer to improve December regs and their commission.....Company cars are usually not registered in December for same reason and I feel as a non company car buyer that I am making up numbers for December.....

Just been advised its now CONFIRMED build week 45.....

That's early for a build week next month. Hopefully the week 46's will be confirmed soon too.

I could be wrong but I don't think there is a designated lead time for when customers are advised that their orders have moved to confirmed.

Probably not but my dealer suggests that they get firmed up about 2 weeks before they build. That makes some sense from a production planning angle.
