how are the octy vrs's at towing ??

im looking at towing a Golf Mk2 for about 100 miles over vaious terrain will the Octy VRs be up to the job?

also im right in saying you cannot tow on motorways right??

should be fine for towing another car, i take you mean with the aid of a rope or similar ?

without a trailer i'm pretty sure the motorway is a no no although i have seen people towing on them in the past. dont think mr plod would take to it though.

Used to tow a 4 berth caravan with my vRS estate without problems so a golf should be easy. If your towing the Golf on a trailer then motorway will be ok, just remember its a 60mph speed limit with a trailer. If your towing with just a rope etc then don't use the motorway.
