Advice on new tyres.. again

Featured Replies

So, I decided today getting all season tyres would be a stupid idea, the reason being is that I have new wheels awaiting to be refurbished and put on, brain clicked in at this point and I realised it'd be worthwhile in getting a set of winters on my current wheels to use in winter and then use the new wheel during summer, so the ones that have caught my eye (again in budget)

Anyone got experience with these?

They do pretty well in the winter tests, but again you could get a little better for a little less £. Nokian have their new WR D4 at £42/corner from Oponeo**. Quite a few people on here have run their WR A3 or WR D3 tyres and they get excellent reviews. I had the A3s and they were a great tyre, which prompted me to get the Nokian Weatherproofs. If you're happy to run two sets of tyres I don't think you could get much better than these for the money.

I've got TS850s for both cars. They are very good in the snow.
