Bought my Fabia VRS last Friday after training in my 07 MK1 - which I loved.

I al lookin to get the roof wrapped in gloss / piano black and need to know what price I should be looking at to get that done.

Also I'm looking to plasti dip the badges too, gloss - I know I'll need to put that shining coat on after I've used plasti dip. Ebay seems expensive for the paint so just hoping anyone knows where I could get it cheaper?

Also could I get the paint in a spray can customised to my car colour - also where do I fine the code as it's not in the driver door? I just have the 'CTHE' sticker there which has a load of letters and numbers along with some weights.

The Sticker in the Boot, Passenger side has the Paint code, (Spare tyre well.) It has the cars build details / Codes.

if you do not have a Service Manual with it inside the front cover.

What colour car is it?

Yeah I'm at the girlfriends though so the book is at home ill check that out in the morning.

Colour says 'silver' on the log book but it's more gun metal. Not seen another the same colour on here - there's a picture in the VRS thread.

Go by the Code in the Boot then.

I would take £200 to paint the roof.

You might get it wrapped for £150 or so.

Depends what people charge in your area.

 

I like that car as is without a Black Roof.

Maybe best go with it wrapped.

Been quoted £120 for it to be wrapped so happy with that. Definitely don't want it painting as it's a more permanent thing, which I don't want.

I've not seen many mods that I'm really keen on - other than remap & lowering, so will look more into this and see how I get on. Pictures will be added when I start to progress.

That's about the going rate, I charge £120 for polo/corsa sized cars, £130 for golf/a3 sized, £140 for saloons and staring from £150 for estates

Just make sure there using a good product like 3m 1080 or avery supreme, don't let them fob you off with kpmf or some rubbish.
