Octavia VRS 2.0 TFSI 2007 lack of power

Featured Replies

Hello all, I am fairly new to the forum and I now need some advice on my VRS.

When I first got the car (3 months ago) it had great response and felt like it wanted to pull all the time.

The car only has 60k on the clock and is a 2007 model.

I have done some research and it seems it could be the diverter valve? I was also confused with the different versions (type d, g, revision d etc), and was wondering if someone could shine a light on this?

Is the diverter valve likely to be the cause?

Any help would be appreciated.

Aaron

Had mine changed last week. Brand new car again. They are aparantly poorly designed as the little plastic diaphragm tears and releases pressure.

Cheap fix is the plus side

Sounds like what I need.

Do you have any part numbers?

This is the one I'm currently looking at on eBay - item number: 181712820008
