Yeti Hedlight

Featured Replies

Following changeout of damaged Xenon headlight assembly all lamps in the unit are functioning OK but I have a faulty bulb indicator on the dash and also a message in Maxidot 'No bend Lighting (AFS) functioning'. When turning on ignition passenger side headlight goes through autocheck routine but not the drivers side. Anyone come across this before and know how to correct it?

Hi Jobla,

I have replied to your other post, I am thinking that the extra connector in the back of the headlamp may not have been re-connected. This extra wiring powers the beam adjustment motors, So I reckon it's well worth you check this.

It will be very fiddly as access is not good and maybe the mechanic gave up or couldn't see it.

He's sorted, it needed the car being informed by VCDS or something similar that the headlight had been changed.

Excellent.
