Side lights ...

Featured Replies

Hi all, had my 61 plate VRS estate for 3 weeks and really like it. Apart from the odd rattle in the boot area and creaking back seats it's brilliant - have fixed the rattle and creak with the help of Duck tape around various parts.

I have one question though ... in my black headlights I have a blue side light bulb which doesn't work. Looked in the back of the headlight and there are wires but guessing they are wired up to anything, should they be?

Asked Skoda and they said it does work and will be wired up in other EU countries but not in the UK

I have the LED driving lights which are switched on all the time ( switch in the fuse box).

Is there any way of connecting these blue side light bulbs to either the driving lights or the headlights so they work??

Any help would be appreciated ...

it's a false bulb - just for show mate, although the actual bulbs do work (tried in another car). Sidelights are integrated as the DRL's (first turn of the headlight switch) which dim them and turn rear lights on.
